This is more convenient for home base users If using in a mobile you don't notice this change. This is available for anyone that would like this. Basic Test Include 
***As of the 21/8/2026, PC Service Software programing the Minimum volume setting to a lower level (Better home base night time users)***
Physical button and function check
Check mic gain set to 15 on AM/FM/USB/LSB
Check mic control, Including NR operation
Change Roger beep to 2kz, 200ms (gives a nice Roger beep compared to factory settings)
Test all LCD display colours 
Test LCD dimmer control   
TX power AM/FM/LSB/USB
TX Audio 
TX ON Freq 
Current TX & RX
RX sensitivity:- no sq by ear, sq1- approx 0.35uv, sq10 approx above 2uv
Finally, Press and hold mic button and turn on to set back to 10Mtr radio ready for its new home

to open up the radios channels when the radio is turned off, press and hold the PTT (Push To Talk - Microphone Button) and turn the channel know to select the bands you wish the use. To put it back to stock do the same thing. for more information please find the link above for the Basic Manual
