This is a great little radio that also has built in CTCSS and Repeater offset settings for using 10mtr HF repeaters. For most TTR's 29.6Mhz> with a -100khz

With a small modification this radio can also transmit and receive across all bands 21,22,23,24,25,26,27,28,29 & 30Mhz, just move the jumper in the photos this also allows access to 27Mhz CB Radio Bands with AM/FM/USB/LSB

If wishing to modify your radio for "OPEN TX" or as some people call it MARS mod all that is needed is - Remove all power from your radio, Press and Hold down 2 x buttons at the same time "MEM" button and "BAND" Button and power your radio back up select "HF" and press and Hold the "Function" Button to store and reset and auto reboot the radio.
That's it!!! no software no $100 modification fees!!!
